Tell us about yourself:
Hi Everyone! My name is Kruti, and I’m a wellness blogger from Orange County, California. When I'm not in the kitchen recipe testing, one of my favorite hobbies is reading a good book, spending time with family or friends, and doing yoga.
What got you to start a food blog?
I’ve always had a passion for healthy eating, which started in high school after being diagnosed with a health issue. I would do tons of research, and started reading several blogs, which inspired me to start cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. I currently do not have a blog, but share my creations via Instagram, which I started 2 years ago.
What's your philosophy when it comes to healthy living?
It’s not only about how you nourish your body, but also how you nourish your mind. It’s important to feed our bodies with a variety of foods, but if the chocolate cake is calling to you, I say eat it! Don’t deprive yourself of the foods you love!
We're all about delicious & clean eating: what are your favorite go-to recipes?
Honestly, there are so many recipes I enjoy on the daily, but a few of my go-to recipes are smoothies, gr8nola with fruit, and salads with lots of greens and healthy fats like avocado.
What makes you #hungryforgr8ness?
Don’t let your fears get in the way of pursuing your dreams. I know this feeling all too well, and I often find myself fearful of challenging myself to something new whether it involves a new workout, food, career transition, etc. However, I’ve learning to let go of the negative stories I tell myself in order to strive for gr8ness, and I welcome all of you to join me and do the same!
