“Not only did I become obsessed with gr8nola’s flavor and texture which isn’t overly clumpy, so did my Romy. She eats it every night in bed while we’re reading bedtime books.”— Jane
Tell us about yourself: I’m a Native New Yorker who’s been into fitness and healthy eating since the eighth grade. I work out intensely everyday and am very conscious of what I eat. I’m also a basketball and football fan even when my teams lose and I love to explore NYC’s cultural scene. But what I love most is being a mom to the coolest six-year old around, whose newest hobby is to put on her on chef’s outfit and invent new ways to #eatgr8nola!
What inspires you to be gr8? My immigrant father and grandparents who came to this country from Europe with nothing but hope after the horrors of WWII. My mother, who has always chosen to work. And unquestionably my daughter, Romy; I need to make today gr8 for me so I can be the best mom for her!
What’s your gr8nola story? I had been eating another brand of granola because it had coconut oil, which, unlike the other oils you find in most granolas on the shelf, is a medium-chain-fatty-acid and gets used in your body as energy and doesn’t get stored as fat. Then one day, I’m scrolling down Facebook and I come across gr8nola’s Facebook page. Because i’m obsessed with granola and literally eat it all day long, straight from the bag, I had to check it out. Plus I knew the founder, Erica and I thought the name was amazing. Wait a second, this gr8nola was also made with coconut oil? I had to try it out! And unlike the granola I had been eating before, gr8nola is made with stevia, not coconut sugar - much better for someone who eats as much of the stuff as I do. Not only did I become obsessed with gr8nola’s flavor and texture which isn’t overly clumpy, so did my Romy. She eats it every night in bed while we’re reading bedtime books.
We #eatgr8nola…voraciously. Although we’ve been buying #eatgr8nola five packs at a time, I think i’m just going to order the bulk size from now on.
