Eating clean doesn’t always mean giving up your favorite desserts -- we’re firm believers in finding a healthy balance that works for you!
However, for those times when the cravings just won’t quit, we love munching on clean-ingredient versions of our favorite chocolate bars (you may love our clean Mounds Bar recipe or our clean Twix Bar recipe). We came up with this vegan-friendly, clean ingredient Raw Snickers Slice recipe so that we can enjoy the taste of the classic candy bar without the guilt!
Believe it or not, these chewy-gooey bars are packed with superfoods (starting with a wonderfully-textured crust made with Coco Cacao gr8nola), and are free of dairy, soy and refined sugars.

Raw Snickers Slice Recipe
Makes: 10-14 slices
Ingredients
Base:
- 4 medjool dates
- ¾ cup almond flour
- ¾ cup Coco Cacao gr8nola
- 4 Tbsp. coconut oil
Caramel & Peanut Layer:
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 3 tsp. cashew milk
- 1 tsp. coconut sugar
- 1 ⅓ cups medjool dates
- ⅓ cup peanuts
Chocolate Layer:
- ½ cup vegan chocolate (we love Pascha Organic vegan chocolate)
- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil
Directions
Base Layer:
- Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a blender or food processor, blend gr8nola to a fine flour.
- Add almond flour and medjool dates, and blend until fully combined.
- Add coconut oil by the tablespoon, and mix with a spoon until fully combined, and the mixture sticks together when pinched with your fingers.
- Pour mixture into prepared pan, and press firmly into the pan. Place in freezer while you prepare the caramel layer.
Caramel & Peanut Layer:
- In a blender or food processor, blend all caramel layer ingredients together, except for the peanuts. Blend until a thick, creamy caramel-like texture is achieved.
- Remove the prepared base from the freezer, and spread the caramel layer over the top.
- Sprinkle the peanuts evenly over the caramel layer.
- Place in freezer while you prepare the chocolate layer.
Chocolate Layer:
- Melt the chocolate with coconut oil, and pour over the caramel layer. Spread chocolate evenly, and place in the fridge to set (about 30 minutes).
- Slice and enjoy!
