Power up and chow down on these sweet energy bites packed with vegan protein and superfood Cacao Crisp gr8nola. We used simple vegan ingredients including cacao powder, natural almond butter and maple syrup to achieve a soft and chewy melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Double Chocolate Chip Energy Bites


  • 2 cups Cacao Crisp gr8nola
  • ¼ cup vegan protein powder
  • 3 Tbsp. cacao powder
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup or honey
  • ½ cup mini vegan dark chocolate chips


  1. In a blender or food processor, blend the gr8nola to a fine flour.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the gr8nola, protein powder and cacao powder. Stir until fully combined.
  3. Add the almond butter and honey, and stir until the mixture comes together. If the mixture is dry, add honey and almond butter by the tablespoonful.
  4. Fold the chocolate chips into the mixture.
  5. Scoop the prepared mixture by the tablespoon, and roll into balls.
  6. Enjoy, and store in an airtight container for up to a week!
